Google Launches Enhanced Voice Search For Android Say's Soon For iOS

Google's search app for iOS is about to become more Siri-like. The app, which already allows users to enter search terms via voice, will soon gain the ability to better understand your intent—that is, what you actually mean with all those extraneous words coming out of your mouth. Google announced on Wednesday that the feature will be available "soon" for iPhone and iPad and is available for Android devices.

Unlike a standard Google search—performed via thumbs or your voice—the ability to understand intent allows the app to better parse the kind of context that might apply to your search. This can include your location or the "type" of thing you're searching for. As noted by our friends at the Verge, the feature is "pretty much identical" to what's available in Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), though the results are presented differently in the iOS app than they are on Android.

Looks like Google is  giving a tough competition to Apple .

Android SmartPhones To Get Free 3G, Courtesy : Google and Reliance

Good News For New  Android SmartPhones Buyers in the country According To How To Blog Labnol New Android SmartPhones are reportedly going to come with a free 3G plan for six months, thanks to deal between Reliance and Google. The Times Of India says that devices will come bundled with a Reliance 3G connection with 1GB of data for free. The offer will be applicable to HTC, Sony, LG, and Samsung handsets and notable there is no mention of Motorola in the list, which ironically is being acquired by Google.

The report seems to indicate that the Reliance-Google deal is applicable to “all Android phones sold in India” but more likely it is about 3G handsets sold through Reliance. The rcom.co.in website doesn’t say anything about this new partnership.
